icons displayed improperly in IE6 for NewPagesFeed

In IE6, Special:NewPagesFeed the article status icons are on top of the article title.  See screen shot from test2wiki attached.

The page itself says "This tool may not work correctly in browsers older than
Internet Explorer 8".

I am not sure if PageTriage is not intended to be working for <IE8 but if so please mark this as WONTFIX, otherwise it would be helpful to list the reason(s) why it can't work with old browsers so an attempt to fix can be done if possible at all.

IE6 is officially at end of lifecycle,[1] and is less than 1% of Wikimedia readership.
