Description Dan Wolff 2013-01-08 19:53:21 UTC
Follow-up of Bug 42288.

It seems like the template works and categorizes pages correctly, but the automatically created categories are *not* categorized.

E.g. I would expect the category [[wikt:sv:Kategori:Wiktionary:Användare sv-N]] to be placed into the category [[wikt:sv:Kategori:Wiktionary:Användare sv]], which in turn should be placed in [[wikt:sv:Kategori:Wiktionary:Användare per språk‎]].

It should thus be:
* Wiktionary:Användare per språk‎
** Kategori:Wiktionary:Användare <lang code>
*** Kategori:Wiktionary:Användare <lang code>-<level>

Also, is there a way to categorize the 175 new categories?

I'm going to analyze the situation and edit the config accordingly.

For already created categories, a bot will be required. Do you have an experienced user able to use bots on your wiki?

I do have a bot, albeit unused for a long time. I'll deal with it eventually.

Just a comment about the Babel extension: shouldn't at least [..Användare <lang code>-<level>] be automatically categorized into [..Användare <lang code>] by default? It seems weird that it should require an additional setting.

Bump.
Comment 4 Dan Wolff 2013-09-08 12:20:24 UTC
Anyway... I have created and run a bot to correctly categorize these categories on sv-wikt, so now it's quite easy to update as needed.

What's the state of this?
Comment 6 Andre Klapper 2014-02-28 14:56:40 UTC
Dereckson: I am resetting the assignee of this issue to default because there has been no progress in the last months. Feel free to take it again when you are actually planning to fix this. Thanks.
