Description Saqib 2013-01-09 11:08:59 UTC
We're in the process of creating Wikimedia local chapter in Pakistan so need a mailing list to communicate with the users who're interested in the registration process of the chapter.

I see that the Meta-Wiki page's history at https://meta.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikimedia_Pakistan&action=history shows that the page hasn't been touched in over a year - please could you add more information about it there with a list of volunteers that are involved in it etc, as this currently appears to be quite early stages. When a list is eventually created, I belive Wikimedia-PK@ would be the correct list name as per our standardisation at https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Mailing_lists/Standardization#Wikimedia.

hi, there're not so many but few WP users from Pakistan i know are interested in the process of registration of the local chapter. If you want, I can here list the user names of those interested...

BTW, if we can have a wiki site for our proposed chapter (pk.wikimedia.org). I can ask every volunteer interested in the process to sign up there and we can have a single platform to discuss the matter regarding chapter..

Hmm, I'm not so sure about how the process of getting a wiki works - that may just be for actually formed Chapters. Please do list the usernames of those interested, and I'll ask someone about the wiki request.
