The following extensions (unless merged to core) should be integrated in the tarball by make-release, considering that there's consensus on the link page for bundling or even merging, i.e. some support apart from the proposer and no opposes/doubts: Cite, ImageMap, Interwiki, Title Blacklist, SpamBlacklist, Poem CheckUser and SyntaxHighlight GeSHi have support but some old doubts which seem obsoleted but are not (yet) marked as such; CategoryTree may lack sufficient support in light of Brion's comment (8 June 2011). Comments on the page were requested more than six weeks ago to mediawiki- and wikitech-l: http://thread.gmane.org/gmane.org.wikimedia.mediawiki/40607
Agree in principle with everything except Interwiki - don't think it's demanded that much.
Can you please specify the doubts sorrounding CheckUser? I was about to create a bug requesting CheckUser to become core, and I am interested in knowing those doubts.

My list has been the most conservative possible: about CheckUser, it's just one (or two?) 2009 anonymous comment(s) which nobody ever struck as rubbish, you can see and comment it on the page linked from URL. :)
(In reply to comment #0) > Cite, ImageMap, Interwiki, Title Blacklist, SpamBlacklist, Poem Mark has also added to [[mw:MediaWiki 1.21]]: InputBox, LocalisationUpdate, SyntaxHighlight GeSHi.
Mark, I see that you included LocalisationUpdate because we got bug 46885, but what about the other approved extensions?
(In reply to comment #5) > Mark, I see that you included LocalisationUpdate because we got bug 46885, > but > what about the other approved extensions? Self-answer: they are in the rc1 tarball, so I guess the make-release script was patched.
CategoryTree and CheckUser are all that remain from the initial report. These wouldn't be hard to include in later versions, but I'd like to defer those until 1.22 and really examine what we have now. Closing this for now. Please open new bugs to re-request the above extensions.

Change 65649 abandoned by Nemo bis: Update with extensions already bundled in 1.21 Reason: my only interest was to close the bundled extensions bug, now the commit is about something else; I prefer to clean my dashboard https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/65649
Change 72966 had a related patch set uploaded by MarkAHershberger: * Includes the latest extensions. * Add a cleaner way to generate the per-version extensions. * Make it possible to add other extensions as for the Semantic Bundle. * Make diff creation a little smaller by excluding whitespace differences. https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/72966

Ok, I checked the last code and they are all there.
