Created attachment 11645 [details] Shapour font (ttf, eot, woff) Please include the attached font for Middle Persian language (Inscriptional Pahlavi script). The font is released under GNU/GPL in 2012, and has been tested and is OK.
May I know the upstream of these fonts(its website or repository)?

Is there a proper website for this font? An external reference where the author says that the license is GPL? The licensing is the most important issue at this point.
No, there is no website for the font and the font has not been published anywhere else, as far as I know. The user who has claimed that he created the font is a trusted user, and according to him the license is GPL (you can see this text if you open the file: Created by Behaafarid using FontForge. Released under GNU GPL. 2012).
Not sure if http://www.fontspace.com/behaafarid/shapour counts as a website
I contacted the font author about this bug. The author uploaded the font to fontspace, but I asked if he can host the font and version control it , preferably with a issue tracking system. I suggested github too. Waiting for this reply.
