Description Joe 2013-01-19 14:14:34 UTC
When I go to Wiktionary's English dictionary, Safari exits with an major error: "Safari Web Content quit unexpectedly". It may be a Safari bug but it's only happening when selecting the English page. Safari version is 6.0.2. What's really fun is that the next time I go into Safari, it tries to load the page and exits again (unless I'm fast enough to stop the page from loading... the X in the address bar). Just thought you'd like to know in case it's something at your end. Of course, I'd be interested if others have reported this problem or there's a fix. I have sent the detailed crash report to Apple.

Thanks for reporting.
I'd love to follow up on this but I assume that Apple does not have a public crasher or bug database. :)

I'm not aware of other crasher reports for Safari and this is definitely something that requires fixing in the Safari codebase (even if something was wrong on en.wiktionary.org, the browser should be robust enough to not crash), so I appreciate the notification, but there's nothing that the Wikimedia developers could fix in code that they control, so I'm closing this report here.
