Description Aude 2013-01-25 11:07:44 UTC
It would be very helpful to have a bugzilla component for the "new" sites stuff in core.

Perhaps wikidata-bugs could be a default cc for those, since we are sort of maintaining it, although not sure about default assignee.
Comment 1 Daniel Kinzler 2013-01-25 11:14:58 UTC
support, please add a SiteStore component.
Comment 2 Andre Klapper 2013-01-25 11:19:03 UTC
I don't know what the "new sites stuff in core" is.
A description would be great - also see https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Bug_management/Project_Maintainers#To_add_a_project_or_component
And where can I find some documentation about SiteStore?
And would this be a component of the product "MediaWiki"?
Comment 3 Aude 2013-01-25 12:03:55 UTC
It's the stuff in includes/sites and describe here:

https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Requests_for_comment/New_sites_system

It could probably used improved documentation on mediawiki.org, now that it's been merged.
Comment 4 Andre Klapper 2013-01-28 17:26:17 UTC
I only see problems of the previous system described in the linked RFC...
Could you describe in one sentence what the functionality of the "sites stuff in core" is, please? (I need a component description.) Thanks.
Comment 5 Andre Klapper 2013-02-28 01:08:00 UTC
Daniel just provided that missing component description:
"Contains information about other sites, like link prefixes or URL patterns."
I've added Daniel to the default CC for this component as requested by him.

Jeroen: Would you also like to be in default CC?

The component Sites has been created.
Closing as FIXED.
