Description jeblad 2013-01-26 12:39:40 UTC
Some of language codes (i.e. the code no) should not be allowed for editing and should be corrected (i.e. redirected to nb or nn). Some of the codes are aliases, some are plainly wrong. This should be fixed and the labels, descriptions, aliases, and also system messages moved or copied to the correct language code.

Note that this does not imply that the same codes should be changed for the site id, nowiki should still be used for Norwegian (bokmål) Wikipedia, but the language code for system messages in Norwegian should be nb or nn and all multilingual strings should also be for nb or nn. The code no is a meta code for both written forms of Norwegian.

How this is done should be coordinated with the i18n team.
