Description Mark Holmquist 2013-01-29 18:02:56 UTC
Just finished an installation of MediaWiki. Saw this on the last page:

Download <code>LocalSettings.php</code>

If it's important, my choices were:

0. en for both language settings
1. sqlite for the database
2. Install the wiki, I'm bored already.

Can you please elaborate a little more on this?
Comment 2 Andre Klapper 2013-05-06 11:20:49 UTC
@Mark: Which browser and version is this about?

I tried with given steps in git master (1.22-alpha).
The HTML code DOES contain
  Download <code>LocalSettings.php</code></a></div>
but Firefox 20 has no problems does not interpret the brakets as something to display literally, just because it does not know this markup element.

@Richa: If the bug report is unclear to you please tell us the steps that you tried to reproduce, and where things exactly became unclear.
Comment 3 Mark Holmquist 2013-05-06 14:47:09 UTC
I probably would have been on some Firefox, maybe the problem was it was < 20. I can try to reproduce today on an older version.

mtraceur: Any idea if this is still an issue?
I fail to reproduce with Firefox 18 on an older machine.
