Description billinghurst 2013-02-02 10:31:09 UTC
I will prepend this bugzilla with a statement "this could just be me" ...

With Firefox 18.0.1, I have found that it is breaking meta's Special:Preferences, in that rather than having tabs, it just gives me a straight long page.

I am not seeing styling added into pages as added by [[mw:Extension:CentralAuth]]

I also am not seeing other inclusions like added sidebars from appended javascript files written by competent people.

Notes:
* These breakages do not occur on other WMF wikis tested, including Commons, enWS, and enWP and a couple of WMF private wikis.
* These breakages are not solely an account with enhanced rights, I also can reproduce with my SUL account with no privileges
* These breakages do not occur with Google Chrome browser
* I reverted to nude componentry, no personal js/css files, reset to default settings for preferences, same results

Using the error console from Firefox isn't showing me anything particularly of significance (note that I am no expert in its interpretation).

Happy to provide logs, if people are telling me what they would like to see, pastes, screenshots, etc. Happy to run tests, if I know what you is required.

I would be happy if someone is able to replicate this matter.

I can't confirm. I'm on Firefox 18.0.1 and I see the correct page when I visit https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Special:Preferences.

Just leave it, will go through re-installation and stuff.

Cannot confirm for Firefox 18.0 on Fedora 16.
