With the old planet it was every 2 hours, as far as I remember, and Daniel says there's no particular reason to keep it so rare. Rationale: once a day, and at midnight (UTC) even, means that all Wikimedian blogposts are delivered to the readers old and rotten. Also, they may well never be seen if the reader's aggregator sorts by date and in the meanwhile there's plenty of new items burying the planet's.
Gerrit change #47223 was merged and puppet run on the server, but cronjobs are still run only daily. Will this fix itself at some point or are we missing something?
Ehm, yeah, just changing the cronjob times but keeping the same cronjob (resource) names in puppet does not make it rewrite the cronjobs. I commented the existing ones, re-ran puppet and now it created the hourly ones. Should work now.
