The beta project would need a few more wildcard DNS entries:

*.m.wikipedia.beta.wmflabs.org
*.m.wiktionary.beta.wmflabs.org
*.m.wikiquote.beta.wmflabs.org
*.m.wikibooks.beta.wmflabs.org
*.m.wikinews.beta.wmflabs.org
*.m.wikisource.beta.wmflabs.org
*.m.wikiversity.beta.wmflabs.org
*.m.wikimedia.beta.wmflabs.org
*.m.wikivoyage.beta.wmflabs.org

All should points to 208.80.153.143.

Note the IP is currently assigned to deployment-varnish-t3 instance.

That is blocking the mobile support on beta.

To get wildcard entries we have to create a domain using https://labsconsole.wikimedia.org/wiki/Special:NovaDomain (requires cloudadmin). Then create a host name '*' under the domain.

*.m.wikipedia.beta.wmflabs.org is now set up.

I'm struggling with the other m.whatevers because our current code is... weird.

That seems to work for me. I have manually checked a few entries by querying labs-ns1.wikimedia.org.
