When a subcat's name starts with the name of the category above it, followed by a blank and arbitrary text, the page / subcat counters won't take any elements below that subcat into account.

Example:

Category:Root
 |
 |- Category:Test
 |- Category:Test1
    |- Category:Foobar (C:1,P:1)
       |-Category:barfoo
       |-FooPage
    |- Category:Test1 Foo [-> no entries shown]
       |-Category:xyz
       |-BarPage
