Created attachment 11774 [details] visual editor after deleting lines 3 and 4 - note that 4 is still visible and the gap inbetween 2 and 4 is marked as 'cannot be edited' I had text 1 2 3 4 selecting the last 2 lines ( 3 and 4 ) and deleting and saving, on looking at the page again '4' is visible and there is a gap that is marked as 'cannot be edited'
What browser did this happen with? How did you make the selection (mouse vs. keyboard)? Can you link to the revision?
Safari on Mac used the trackpad on my Mac to select the text Look at page http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:PhilK10/sandbox/lines
Looks like this is similar to bug 44701. The linear model is correct, but is incorrectly serialized or parsed.
This is now fixed given the Parsoid update. Sorry for the delay.
