See https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Moscow_City.jpg. On the file description page, you see a picture of skyscrapers above snow on the ground. However, if you click it to get to the 100% version (https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/7/71/Moscow_City.jpg), you see skyscrapers above a street on a summer day. I have purged the cache of both multiple times, to no avail.
Confirmed that 800px returns wrong thumbnail. Action=purge does not seem to flush the bad thumbnail. Also appending extra stuff to the end of the 800px url in order to try to bypass squid/varnish seems to have no affect. Something wrong on the swift layer maybe?
(In reply to comment #0) > See https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Moscow_City.jpg File has been moved to https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Moscow-City_by_Bawdiest.jpg Clicking on "Full Resolution" seems to work now, and the previously used URL https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/7/71/Moscow_City.jpg is a 404 now.
Seems to work correctly now as per comment 2.
