Description Svick 2013-02-14 19:06:25 UTC
Today, I created http://wikidata.org/wiki/Q4604624 for a Wikipedia: page with the title "Wikipedia category cycles". Then I noticed that the Wikidata title should use Wikipedia: namespace too, so I tried to change the title to "Wikipedia:Category cycles". But doing that doesn't seem possible, it shows a (very generic) error:

An error occurred while trying to perform save and because of this, your changes could not be completed

Please check if this is still a problem after we deployed a new version on Wednesday 2013-03-06. Thank you!

I still get the same error.

Yes, _after_ the deployment in a few days ;-)
Comment 4 Andre Klapper 2013-03-20 14:31:29 UTC
Svick: Is this still a problem after the deployment which took place two weeks ago?
Comment 5 Svick 2013-03-20 19:42:44 UTC
Sorry, I forgot to check.

Yeah, the same thing still happens to me.
Comment 6 Lydia Pintscher 2013-03-21 14:58:26 UTC
I just tried it and it was successful. I am pretty sure this was caused by the missing www in the URL you were using. This is a known problem and I will file a separate bug for this in a bit.
