Description Brion Vibber 2013-02-26 22:44:55 UTC
Currently:
* Android pulls from upload log
* iOS pulls from list=allimages

which has unfortunate side effects:
* Android sees files that have been deleted
* Android does not see files that have moved
* iOS does not see files that someone else has modified, if you as original uploader are not the latest modifier
* iOS pulls up files that you modified but did not originally upload, if you are the latest modifier

Should standardize between the two.

So what we want is list of 'Files that I have originally uploaded' - 'Files that have been deleted' along with redirect resolution. Add a field 'original uploader' to page image table perhaps? :P

After playing around with the API for a while I do not think it is possible for us to do this right with just existing API methods :(

In the meantime, I'll be updating the iOS app to use the Android app's method so they're more consistent. While not ideal for deleted items, it should semi-handle moved items and handles things that other people have edited better.

This landed on iOS, going ahead and closing. If we want to make a better query we can open a new bug. :)
