Named attribution bug

Some of the edits to articles on my watchlist are showing up as anonymous when in reality they are being done by named accounts. Screenshot attached. Edit in question include

Comment 1 Jon 2013-02-28 01:51:42 UTC
Works for me...

Mobile views show the correct usernames (cache issue maybe?):

Comment 2 Tomasz Finc 2013-02-28 01:59:12 UTC
How would a caching issue change a user name to anonymous ? Thats seem bizarree to me.
Comment 3 Jon 2013-02-28 02:17:41 UTC
It seems to only effect the feed view. I'm not sure how to replicate this but it suspect there is something wrong in the database query.

Stab in the dark that might fix this:

I haven't seen this in a while. There was little interest in trying out my patch so I abandoned it till we have a clearer idea what is happening.
Comment 5 Tomasz Finc 2013-03-21 21:28:23 UTC
I'm no longer seeing this. Resolving and will re-open if it happens again.
Comment 6 Maryana Pinchuk 2013-03-21 21:31:16 UTC
Just checked and saw another one of these weird not-really-anon guys in my watchlist. Not dead yet, unfortunately :-/

Comment 8 Jon 2013-05-28 21:25:07 UTC
I've still been unable to replicate this and haven't seen this in a while... am really keen to resolve this. Is this happening? Can anyone notice any patterns to when it happens?!
Comment 9 Jon 2013-06-05 18:54:29 UTC
Bump.. any ideas?
Comment 10 Aude 2013-06-05 18:56:21 UTC
are you filtering out the wikidata (RC_EXTERNAL) changes here? if not, probably a good idea until they can be handled in a more elegant way.
Comment 11 Jon 2013-06-07 17:53:56 UTC
Since this is the best lead we have let's go with it and REOPEN the bug if the problem doesn't go away:

Please reopen this if you see it again after next deployment on Tuesday 11th.
