When filtering the message list to se messages with a specific word in the translation it works for latin words but not for other non-latin scripts. I observed the issue for Bengali and Nepali.

How to reproduce:

1) Open http://translatewiki.net/w/i.php?title=Special:Translate&group=out-kiwix&filter=translated&action=translate&language=ml
2) Copy paste "പ്രമാണം" without quotes to filter box
3) Nothing matches, even though this should be the translation of "File".
