Description Kevin Rutherford 2013-03-03 23:46:57 UTC
I recently tried to upload an image (File:Boston Terrier), and it didn't upload due to a spotty internet connection. I then tried to rename it due to realizing it was probably a used name on Commons, and it uploaded with the above name, overwriting the file.

Hello! This is a known issue, and I'm trying to figure out what the proper solution is. Prompt the user if there is a name clash, and ask them to retype? See bug 45498
Comment 2 Brion Vibber 2013-05-21 19:53:21 UTC
Should be fixed in latest iOS beta; on name clash we automatically append a sequence number to avoid conflicts. Renaming in the queue *should* work as well.
