Easy to reproduce:

Open some nested subgroup. Refresh the page.

Confirmed. These are the steps that I followed:
1. Go to https://translatewiki.net/w/i.php?title=Special:Translate&group=out-fuel-0-all&language=nl&filter=!translated&action=translate
2. Open group selector by clicking FUEL
3. Select "FUEL (desktop)"

Observed: Subgroup loads. URL is now https://translatewiki.net/w/i.php?title=Special:Translate&group=out-fuel-desktop&language=nl&filter=!translated&action=translate . Breadcrumb is "FUEL / FUEL (desktop)"

4. Press Command+R (or Refresh button)

Observed: Same view and URL as after step 3. Breabcrumb is "FUEL (desktop)"
