Hello,

I have problem with reuse MediaWiki parser. When I start project I select composer as default component builder and could not search on GitHUB or some else MediaWiki Parser component.

Would you create a component on gitHub or/and in composer repository for reuse another user.

Also you can use it as component in MediaWiki and separate developer team ;)

Thanx.

Why should it work standalone?
Comment 2 Vitold S 2013-03-14 08:08:11 UTC
It will be simple for testing and some people can reuse your code.
As another benefit you can get support and new features from another project.
Also you can make building more flexible via start using modern coomposer dependency invoker.

The parser is not meant to work outside of MediaWiki. And it's too complex with too much legacy to easily extract or duplicate.

Building a parser that can be used outside of MediaWiki is the job of Parsoid.

Parsoid is Alpha. Huh...
OK. Waiting release of Parsoid...
