Description spage 2013-03-14 20:12:19 UTC
With guiders.submodule at
5ec5ac6 Add option (defaulted to old behavior) to flip when needed:
and GuidedTour at
fea6d34 Use new flip if needed support in Guiders
the guiders that appear can flip to fit on screen, addressing bug 45621.

I found that in Ubuntu Firefox 19.0.2, if I narrow the Special:GettingStarted window and scroll to the right, I can get in a state where the right-most guider for the right-most (?) in GettingStarted appears to the right, then next time it displays it appears to the left, then back on the right, etc.

It didn't happen in Chromium, and my layout is off because the task categories aren't populated.

I made a home movie "GettingStartedv2 Flip Flickers.ogv", shared with WMF foundation

The relevant code is in GuidedTour and Guiders.

Flipping seems to work now?
