Wikimedia Bugzilla is closed!

Wikimedia migrated from Bugzilla to Phabricator. Bug reports are handled in Wikimedia Phabricator.
This static website is read-only and for historical purposes. It is not possible to log in and except for displaying bug reports and their history, links might be broken. See T48284, the corresponding Phabricator task for complete and up-to-date bug report information.

Sometimes people like to write big replies with headers, just because they can; result in the URL (non-standard example, migrated from a normal page).
Maybe the edit section links should be removed.

The threadaction action from LQT API doesn't have a parameter to inform a section:

If it had, then doEditThread would just need to get the section number from the URL and pass it to the API:

...and this is probably easy to fix (but I don't have time to try).
