Description Matthew Bowker 2013-03-20 04:08:03 UTC
This issue was originally reported in OTRS, [[ticket:2013031710008467]].

The user reported that when he rotates his iPad horizontally, sometimes entries will leave about 1/5 of the screen blank. Furthermore, he is able to move the entire app instead of just the page, leading to a navigation nightmare.

Providing user a link to this bug.

Hi Matthew is there a particular article or workflow that causes this to happen?
Comment 2 Matthew Bowker 2013-03-20 06:19:26 UTC
According to the email, it's intermittent. The user didn't name a specific article.
Comment 3 Matthew Bowker 2013-03-21 22:30:14 UTC
OK, I received an explanation from the user:

"I could reproduce by having the iPad horizontal, opening the Wikipedia app, putting the keywords ‘Too Low For Zero’ and selecting it - the page appears approximately three fifths across the screen and can't easily be navigated. Vertically, I think it seems the same as previously described.

Using Wikipedia Version 3.3 - iOS 6.1.3 on an iPad 4."

Old app's being retired, new app will be implemented differently.
