Description Teles 2013-03-20 07:45:41 UTC
Please, create a mailing list to where oversight requests should be addressed on Portuguese Wikipedia. There is a clear need for its creation and it was also raised on local discussion about how oversight would be implemented on pt.wikipedia [1].

Suggested name is oversight-wp-pt, following other wikis name.

My mail is teleswiki [at] gmail.com, which can be confirmed in my user page [2]. As the other oversighter (Eduardofeld) doesn't want to reveal his mail, I am leaving mine here and I am supposing I should be made admin.

This link confirms the rights were granted: [3]

Please, tell me if I forgot to mention any info.

Thanks in advance,

Teles

Is there anything else I should do to have an answer?

Provided info looks good - this seems to be waiting for somebody to pick it up.
Comment 3 Casey Brown 2013-04-04 17:18:34 UTC
Sorry for the delay, list "oversight-wp-pt" created and password sent to Teles.

Thank you.

Hi. I am one of the admins of Oversight-wp-pt list. But it's happenning that: 1) I don't know how to get a password to use the web admin tool. 2) The messages to be approved are not being broadcasted to my email. Thank you in advance. Eduardo

Hi Eduardo - Teles should have the password and should be able to send it to you via email. My apologies for the delay in the creation of this list, I've been away on a trip for most of this week and only just got back. - THO

My bad. I forgot to send Eduardo the password, which is done now.

Yeah, there's no way to get the password back from the mailman interface -- you have to share it with them by e-mail. If you forget it, we need to set a new one using the mailman administrator password.

Also, you also need to make sure that you subscribe to the mailing list. Being listed as an administrator does not make you subscribed, so you will only get the e-mails if you also add yourself to the subscription list.
Comment 10 Eduardo Feld 2013-04-07 00:02:17 UTC
How do I make sure I'm subscribed? And how do I subscribe?
Comment 11 Casey Brown 2013-04-07 00:14:06 UTC
I just checked and you are subscribed to the list. You either subscribed yourself or Teles did it.
Comment 12 Eduardo Feld 2013-04-07 00:21:13 UTC
Good!
