Description Maryana Pinchuk 2013-03-21 23:31:28 UTC
User feedback from the English Wikipedia village pump (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Vpt#Mobile_version_of_Wikipedia):

"When I am logged into Wikipedia on my phone and am using the mobile view, the front page shows "Welcome, Ezhiki!" at the top of the page. It's written in a huge font, serves no useful purpose, and eats up about 10% of the screen estate. Other than logging out, is there a way to turn this off somehow?"

The welcome message should probably only be displayed on the first visit after login/signup, but not on subsequent visits. If that's tricky to do, we might consider just making the text a little smaller/more unobtrusive.
