for many newly uploaded Ogg Theora videos. TMH fails to create WebM derivatives. It fails with:

[webm @ 0xc34460] Application provided invalid, non monotonically increasing dts to muxer in stream 0: 33 >= 33
av_interleaved_write_frame(): Invalid argument

This issue has been fixed in upstream libvpx at https://code.google.com/p/webm/issues/detail?id=468

Best option seams to be to backport libvpx 1.1.0 and apply the patch.

i.e. http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Police_cruiser_Bartlett_TN_2013-04-01_video.theora.ogv fails

new libvpx packages are installed, failed transcodes need to be reset,
i.e. with new maintenance script from https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/#/c/60006/

Did so run the maintenance script already?

opened an rt ticket for it (RT #5238) should be done soon.
