Glusterfs isn't a good fit for our use-case. It doesn't natively handle multi-tenancy, and our solution for it in gluster doesn't scale.

deployment-prep (beta) is being migrated to the NFS server that has been setup for `tools` (bug 47870).

Everything is NFS now.
