1. Go to the login page .
2. Enter the user name with any number of "leading underscore" characters .
   Example :  _____suman
3. Enter the correct password and click on login.

Result :

It is omitting the leading underscores and logging in .

Intended behavior, underscores are considered whitespace in both MediaWiki pages and usernames, and excess whitespace is ignored.
