Description Mr. Stradivarius 2013-04-08 22:59:11 UTC
When syntax highlighting is used on very large stretches of code, most of the code is not displayed. I noticed this at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Module:Convert/data, a 10,000-line file, and was able to confirm it at https://test2.wikipedia.org/wiki/Module:User:Mr._Stradivarius/10000 and https://test2.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Mr._Stradivarius/10,000.

It looks like it might be triggered by repetition of code or something similar. In Module:Convert/data some of the missing data comes between two identical comments at lines 44 and 8984. I also found a similar effect at my 10,000 sandbox - see the difference between https://test2.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Module:User:Mr._Stradivarius/10000&oldid=51192 which is just a sequence of numbers from 1-10,000, and https://test2.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Module:User:Mr._Stradivarius/10000&oldid=51200 where I entered three identical comments at random spots.
