If a link to browse the properties of a page named junk(-3-) is specified: [[Special:Browse/{{PAGENAME}} | Properties View]] The HTML is correct as: <a href="/wiki/index.php/Special:Browse/junk(-3-)" title="Special:Browse/junk(-3-)">Properties View</a> But, clicking on the link results in a page that says there are no properties for page: junk(%3%)
Which browser and version is this about? Also, why is this an issue with MediaWiki code, as "Special:Browse" seems to be SMW only?

FF and Chrome, can't recall the versions; usually the current ones. Can't recall why I did not choose SMW at the time, but it was prolly something a regular user/hacker would notice without much digging, or I could be mistaken but I usually try to select the best choice.
Ah, thanks. If this still happen in a recent supported version, could you please report this to SMW which has its bugtracker at https://github.com/SemanticMediaWiki/SemanticMediaWiki/issues ? SMW as that provides "Special:Browse", and I didn't manage to reproduce such a URL entity parsing issue with some other MW core page, so that's my guess.
Why did you set it to resolved/worksforme if you think another component is responsible? Please reopen and assign to the SemanticBundle extension if you think SMW is responsible.
SemanticMediaWiki is not hosted in this Bugzilla instance so if it's an SMW issue it needs to reported in a different place (GitHub, see link above). Semantic Bundle does exist as a component here. CC'ing Jeroen, maybe he knows which code territory this is.
Al Johnson, can you file the issue at https://github.com/SemanticMediaWiki/SemanticMediaWiki ? Andre Klapper: thnx for the cc
Oops, that should have been https://github.com/SemanticMediaWiki/SemanticMediaWiki/issues
