Description Effeietsanders 2013-04-15 16:08:40 UTC
Per consensus at the 'Big Fat Brussels Meeting' I'd like to request a public mailing list to serve as an announcement-only list for announcements, heads up and requests for help regarding European Union Policy related initiatives. This helps volunteers and chapters that want to be involved in that to coordinate themselves more effectively and subscribe to a push information channel without receiving large quantities of email (as would be the case in a discussion list such as advocacy advisors or wikimedia@. See also for more info http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/EU_Policy/Big_Fat_Brussels_Meeting/minutes .

If possible, please copy the settings from wikimediaAnnounce-l@, and add lgelauff at gmail as list admin, I will then tweak the details, add more admins etc.

Apologies for the delay in the creation of this list. I've created the list at <https://lists.wikimedia.org/mailman/listinfo/eu-policy-announce> and sent the list admin password to you. I've set posts from new members to be automatically held for subscription, which I believe is what they use for the WikimediaAnnounce-l list but I'll double check.
