Description Vivaelcelta (Roi González Villa) 2013-04-15 21:35:49 UTC
Someone have translate the new namespaces "Module talk" for "Módulo Discussão" in gl.wikipedia, but it is a Portuguese translation.

So, please fix the error changing name "Módulo Discussão" by "Conversa módulo"
Comment 1 Dereckson 2013-04-16 15:57:53 UTC
Hello,

Namespace localisation corrections should be provided through TranslateWiki.

[Adding i18n keyword].

Translate only supports namespace localisation for core. So for extensions, it's fine to report namespace issues or translations here.

I knew I would be well inspired to add you in CC to get feedback. Thank you.

[ Taking this bug. ]

@Vivaelcelta If you want, I can also include a translation for the #invoke magic word in Galician.
Comment 5 Dereckson 2013-04-16 16:20:36 UTC
[ Adding Matma Rex in CC ]

Matma Rex updated the extension code last week, according what were on https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Lua_deployments/Localization_of_Module

The new talk page name is already "Conversa módulo". This should be available soon, with the next deployment.
Comment 6 Vivaelcelta (Roi González Villa) 2013-04-16 19:31:19 UTC
Thanks Dereckson.

What is the use the #invoke magic word?
Comment 7 Dereckson 2013-04-16 19:45:22 UTC
This is the way you invoke or call a function from a Lua module.

{{#invoke:citation/CS1|citation|CitationClass=book
}}

This is the way you invoke or call a function from a Lua module.

For example if you have a Lua module called Quux (and so located at [[Módulo:Quux]]), with a function foo, you would call it with:

{{#invoke|Quux|foo}}
Comment 8 Dereckson 2013-04-16 19:46:27 UTC
I made a mistyping in the comment 7.

You have to read the last line as :
{{#invoke:Quux|foo}}
Comment 9 Vivaelcelta (Roi González Villa) 2013-04-16 19:50:28 UTC
Thanks, I will ask other user, because my English is regular.
Comment 10 Bartosz Dziewoński 2013-04-17 10:21:39 UTC
Yes, this has been fixed in I504ce98a and will be deployed soon.
Comment 11 Vivaelcelta (Roi González Villa) 2013-04-17 11:49:46 UTC
I meant that I am going to consult other uses for the translation for magic word #invoke

Regars
Comment 12 Vivaelcelta (Roi González Villa) 2013-04-17 15:05:08 UTC
The translation of "Module" namespace in gl.wikipedia currently uses the Portuguese translation which is "Módulo". The translation of "Module" in Galician also is "Módulo".

So, please, change the Galician translation for doesn't use the Portuguese translation and it uses his own translation, which is "Módulo".

And we have decided that the Galician translation for the #invoke magic word is "chamar"

As indicated in comments 5 and 10, this is already done in the source code of the extension.

It will be live on the Galician Wikipedia in the following days/weeks, when the new version of the software will be deployed.

Okay, I'm preparing that.
