1. Type ''Notiver'''s with the classic editor and save the page. 2. Edit with visual editor. Don't touch anything and save. Now you have: ''<nowiki>Notiver'</nowiki>''s Visually it's the same, no problem. But why adding <nowiki> (apparently) useless extra tags?
This is Parsoid behaviour - it's overly-keen to add <nowiki>s (which doesn't break things) rather than the other way around (which does), but yes, we want to avoid this if possible. Marking as a dupe. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 39352 ***
