Description Derk-Jan Hartman 2013-04-20 17:09:32 UTC
Compare: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Public_education#Scotland
<span class="mw-headline" id="Scotland">Scotland<span id="Scotland"></span></span>

vs.

https://en.wikipedia.org/w/api.php?action=mobileview&page=Public_education&sections=0

<section toclevel="2" line="Scotland&lt;span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;" id="19" />

The attribute id and it's value were stripped from the mobileview api output.

Yes, we reformat HTML for mobile view, especially sections. It's expected.

What is the point of this? It seems like a waste of time. Why isn't the mobile team using Bugzilla?
