It would be nice to control the behavier of menuselect in the form with somthing like:

field|foo
|input type=menuselect 
|structure=... 
|behavier=add/overwrite

Right now its only possible to overwrite values with menuselct. I changed the code myself in libs/menuselect.js to have the behavier "add". See discussion here:
