Not clear to me what the request is here.
To get the hacks from HTML Tags into WikiEditor codebase? (Probably not, then it would have to be filed under "WikiEditor" component instead.)

Rather than editing the WikiEditor extension directly, there are hooks and functionality built into WikiEditor so you don't need to use these hacks. So it can be done sensibly
