Description jesus.perez 2013-04-25 14:20:37 UTC
Hello,

I have installed SelectCategoryTagCloud (version 1.4.2) and when I want to edit
a page I have the following error:

Fatal error: Call to a member function addMessages() on a non-object in
/usr/local/apache2/htdocs/mediawiki/extensions/CategoryTagCloud_1-4-2/SelectCategoryTagCloud.body.php
on line 197

Thank you.
Regards.

"SelectCategory" is not "SelectCategoryTagCloud", and http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:SelectCategoryTagCloud says that it's supported up to MediaWiki 1.16.0.

Which MediaWiki version do you use?

Hello,

I haven't any other component in Bug with words "TagCloud". So, I bug it in this component because it's most seemed.

My MediaWiki version is 1.19.0.

However I have found mistake. By default "SelectCategoryTagCloud.php" have "$wgSelectCategoryEnableSubpages = true;". If have changed true by "false" and I can edited pages again.

Thank you.

Glad that you found the reason, but please do not set "FIXED" resolution for issues that got resolved WITHOUT any fixes in the codebase on the server. Thanks.
