We need a way to publish and maintain a wikibase.owl file (corresponds to the schema files for the XML dumps). The file is just an XML file. It would be nice if the URL for that would not be too ugly ( http://www.wikidata.org/ontology would be quite nice, but let's figure out what works). We also would need some way to be able to maintain the file, whether by mapping it to a file in the code (so it would be part of the extension files, e.g. in the resources) or through some place in Gerrit.
Actually, just a rewrite from http://www.wikidata.org/ontology to http://www.wikidata.org/w/extensions/Wikibase/docs/ontology.owl would be absolutely sufficient, it seems, so this might be quite simple. The mime-type for that should be application/rdf+xml or application/xml

the Apache alias works and is live now. The ontology file is in the docroot.
