Description Ori Livneh 2013-04-27 07:06:18 UTC
We should detect VirtualBox / Puppet failures and prompt the user to submit the log to us. The submission process should be automated -- i.e., the user merely has to indicate their consent, and the log automatically gets sent for processing.

If the volume of reports is low, we could perhaps use the Bugzilla API to create tickets in the tools/vagrant component.

There may be libraries or tools for this. Automatically creating the bugs could result in a lot of dupes. Some tools like this (e.g. KDE's) prompts you to do a search for a relevant report before filing your own.

As of change I1a602d97f, running 'vagrant paste-puppet' will create a paste on dpaste.de with the log of the most recent Puppet run.

[mass-moving from Tools>MediaWiki-Vagrant to separate product. See bug 54041. Filter bugmail on this comment.]
