Checking http://en.wikipedia.beta.wmflabs.org/wiki/Special:Version, the last update as of today 29 April was on 23 April. 

The last update for MobileFrontend was 22 April. 

The mobile team in particular relies on beta for checking updates before deployment.

I have updated it manually to 9356d00ac5.  Definitely need to make the automatic updater more reliable.

The script is much more robust nowadays, hasn't broke for the last few weeks.

Some extensions in mediawiki/extensions.git are sometime stuck to an old version. We need to monitor the extensions updates which is bug 49906.

https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/#/c/70834/ fixed a bunch of them.
