Description Krinkle 2013-05-07 22:08:38 UTC
It was installed manually last year (presumably by hashar) through `sudo pear` on gallium.wikimedia.org.

It was meant to be packaged and puppetised but apparently that didn't happen.

It currently runs PHP_CodeSniffer 1.4.3 (stable).

PEAR has made 2 minor releases to PHP_CodeSniffer. Stable is now at 1.4.5.

There's a few bug fixes that I was counting on being there (since it ought to run on latest stable and not the random version that was latest stable last year December 2012 when it was first installed).

This is currently blocking a few small deployments with integration.

Requesting ops to maintain status quo and upgrade the package manually for now.

(see also bug 43957).
