Description Thehelpfulone 2013-05-12 14:37:40 UTC
Please create custom logos for the newest private wikis: fdcwiki, iegcomwiki, ombudsmenwiki and transitionteamwiki.

All should use the Wikimedia logo (similar to other private wikis), with the following text underneath the word "Wikimedia"

fdcwiki - Funds Dissemination Committee
iegcomwiki - Individual Engagement Grants Committee
ombudsmenwiki - Ombudsmen
transitionteamwiki - Executive Director Transition Team

If this text is too long then feel free to abbreviate, perhaps:

fdcwiki - FDC
iegcomwiki - IEG Com
transitionteamwiki - ED Transition Team

Though they're defaulting to something appropriate (neutral Wikimedia logo) the favicon seems wrong.

https://fdc.wikimedia.org/wiki/Main_Page is showing a Wikipedia favicon.

Are there any reasons why the Ombudsmen wiki uses a communitiy favicon instead of the general one? Perhaps they should use a variant of the Meta logo instead of the Wikimedia logo (or the favicon should be changed)?

I think there's no reason why that community favicon is in use, rather than the general one. I don't have a strong feeling on which logo ends up where, but it should be consistent. : )

The favicons issue is being dealt with in bug 48404.
