I suspect this resolves the "is it okay to stick a space at the end of the message" issue. The space appended before a user signature when leaving talkpage messages with PageTriage needs to be removed; it's adding <poem> formatting.
This is going to need a bit more explanation. We append signatures after templates in at least half a dozen different cases. Which template are you seeing this problem with? It may be a problem that can be fixed in the template itself. Also, I'm not sure what you mean by "adding <poem> formatting". Poem formatting isn't possible without <poem> tags. I'm guessing you mean the "code" or "pre" formatting that you get when you begin a line with a space?
Indubitably. So, an example would be https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User_talk:PogoStick29&oldid=554044160 which is based off https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template:Db-notability-notice-NPF
Additional problems with other (albeit similar) templates - see https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User_talk:PogoStick29&oldid=554044160 ferinstance.
Db-notability-notice-NPF should be fixed now. Not sure how to test this without making some newbie very confused though :P
Yeah; thus, the rub :/.
Those 2 links go to the same diff. Maybe you pasted the wrong one.
I fail. https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User_talk:Ethiopianembassypretoria&oldid=553874943
OK, these should all be fixed now. Thanks for the heads up!
Great! Thanks for the speedy fixes :)
