Description s7eph4n 2013-05-14 08:16:21 UTC
"I now see the text <sf_formedit_createtitle> and "<formedit>" which I believe reflects the lack of an translation?"

This bug was noticed after fixing bug 47150 with patch I080bd4473635c26e8a8b853d5272f892ed00b639

Those two messages are definitely covered in the i18n file, for what it's worth. I sometimes see message names like that instead of the actual value - I assume that's due to the translation stuff not "kicking in" in time, or maybe an issue with the i18n cache. If it happens every time on some page, or after some set of actions, then I'd say it's worth looking into.

stuff not "kicking in" in time ... This seems correct. This morning I looked at it again, and the issue was gone.

its a bit worrying that it behaves this way, but I'm willing to close this as resolved.
Comment 3 s7eph4n 2013-05-14 15:55:16 UTC
Ok, then I close this.

This could indeed be a problem with the language cache. I never found a way to reliably reset it. So if at some point for whatever reason it did not find the message in the message files, it might be, that "<sf_formedit_createtitle>" was stored in the cache instead and you were stuck with it for a while.

Anyway, if you find any new clues as to when this happens, please reopen the bug.
