When I visit <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:PermanentLink>, I get the following error message currently:

This is pretty useless and misleading.

Maybe an input form, maybe just a clearer error message, maybe something else. I'm not sure. I just know the current behavior doesn't make any sense.

Can't we just get rid of this since we have Special:Redirect? (Although I'm guessing that would break many permanent links, hence the name...)
