I tried hard refreshing a dozen times as suggested there, to no avail.

I could reproduce locally, and there seems to be some uninitialized access in
PatchTable's movePointerTo.
I'll look at that tomorrow.

Fix is upstream at
  https://gerrit-review.googlesource.com/#/c/45861/

As we will upgrade gerrit soonish, we also should get the fix soon :-)

Should be fixed with our latest gerrit upgrade on 2013-06-27.
