Description MZMcBride 2013-05-17 06:00:14 UTC
I think it'd be nice to enable the Echo extension on other Wikimedia wikis (it's currently only enabled on two test wikis, mediawiki.org, and en.wikipedia.org).

For example, I'd like to see Echo enabled on Meta-Wiki.

This probably needs community consensus and a better definition of "other Wikimedia wikis" otherwise this will be unfixable by definition.

Do you have a link to community consensus for Echo being enabled on the English Wikipedia?

I listed the wikis where it's enabled currently. The other ones would be the ones not in that list. I also provided an example wiki to help get started.

I don't think that extensions enabled across all wikis need community consensus (like MediaWiki software changes that get deployed to all wikis).

This was done a long time ago.
