Description David Abián 2013-05-21 15:03:01 UTC
To help patrol work, and according to the local bot policy (w:es:WP:PBOT), flood flag should be introduced in Spanish Wikipedia:

(es) "Los bibliotecarios tienen además la posibilidad de otorgar temporalmente el flag de bot a sus propias cuentas para la repetición masiva de tareas que les son propias con ayuda de algún módulo bot, mientras no exista la posibilidad técnica de usar el flag de flood, más adecuado y preferible."

(en) "Administrators are able to grant temporarily the bot flag to their own accounts for massive tasks with the help of a bot module, whether the technical option of using the flood flag, that is more appropiate and preferable, is not available."

Thanks.

Has the eswiki community discussed this?
Comment 2 Tomasz W. Kozlowski 2013-05-22 22:57:38 UTC
They haven't—please reopen this bug only if there is community consensus to introduce the flood flag on es.wikipedia.
Comment 3 David Abián 2013-05-23 14:34:50 UTC
This has been discussed in different times, and was approved with the local bot policy with 100 % of votes. The votation is in [1] and, the policy discussion, in [2].

Anyway, I agree on I should set out this issue again, so I will do it, and I will reopen this bug if needed.

Regards, and thanks to both.
